Poster Boy for Canada

Today I’ve started a 3-day course all about blogging and podcasting. During the initial presentation, a comment was made about a website dissing Canada. Well, how can I possibly not comment on that? As a proud Canadian (and a proud Scot to boot), I had to find out more.

So I did a quick search on Google and ended up reading a blog here … Hilarious – and a bit disturbing. Certainly the amount of profanity gives rise to concern. However, I think it’s fair to say that the person is either slightly (slightly?!?!) deranged or is simply taking the mickey.

What IS of particular relief to me is to know that, as a Canadian, if I am ever captured by Palestinian extremists I will more than likely be given a handshake, a phone number to keep in touch and sent on my merry way. Don’t believe me? Well, go here here

Could Canada be though of as the Scotland of North America?

I should coco! When I went to New Brunswick I was struck by how similar certain things were. Where it wasn’t from a Scottish angle it was from an Acadian one, and having a Norman fiancĂ© it felt like second nature.

    1. Yes, it is quite a nice template, isn’t it?
    2. I would have thought Scotland could be thought of as the Canada of the UK. (grin)
    3. New Brunswick is a wonderful place.
